After providing updates on two upcoming John le Carré adaptations yesterday, today brings our icy first look of a third. We’ve already expressed our anticipation regarding  A Most Wanted Man, the third film from Dutch filmmaker Anton Corbijn (The American, Control) and now, above, one can see our lead  Philip Seymour Hoffman and an out-of-focus Rachel McAdams. Coming from The Hollywood Reporter, they let us know the film is now in post-production after we exclusively provided a hint of its fall 2013 release plans, as well as a batch of set photos.

Also starring Willem Dafoe, Daniel Bruhl and Robin Wright, the film is adapted for the screen by Australian writer Andrew Bovell (Edge of Darkness, Lantana) and the themes in this Carré story pivot around the war on terror and money laundering. The plot centers on a Hamburg-based terrorist cell’s involvements in 9/11 attacks. It involves a dodgy banker and a lawyer, who are trying to help a refugee suspected by intelligence of aiding the Islamic terror network involved in the attack. Check back as we get more information, including distribution news.
