Whether it be John Travolta, Pam Grier, Kurt Russell, or possibly Jamie Foxx in his upcoming Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino has a knack for taking once-praised actors and giving them a career jolt. His upcoming western revenge flick will be no different. The aforementioned Foxx leads the film, and while his co-star Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t need any sort of bump, another actor has jumped on that could use just that.

Variety reports that Tarantino has cast Breaking Away lead Dennis Christopher as Leo Moguy, Calvin Candie’s (DiCaprio) lawyer. I’ve read the script and his part is small, but he is a key force is connecting Candie with Christoph Waltz‘s Dr. King Schultz character. Also starring in Fade to Black and Chariots of Fire, Christopher has only recently appeared in film with last year’s indie Queen of the Lot.

Michael K. Williams, Kerry Washington, and Zoë Bell are all circling, but not 100% confirmed, while Samuel L. Jackson and Gerald McRaney will definitely show up when Django Unchained opens on December 25th, 2012.
