Plot synopsis posts are about the biggest waste of space on the internet (aside from trailer descriptions), but when it comes to the highly guarded and most anticipated blockbuster of the year, I’ll let it slide. Paramount released one of these tonight, for Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abram‘s Super 8. There is also rumored to be a new 2-minute and 11-second trailer attached with Battle: Los Angeles this weekend and we’ll post as soon as we get it.

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
Super 8 hits theaters June 10th.
