Not much news has been heard regarding Martin Campbell‘s superhero blockbuster The Green Lantern, except that it was moving out of Australia. Latino Review now has the exclusive scoop that five actresses have been narrowed down for Hal Jordan’s (Ryan Reynolds) girlfriend, Carol Ferris. She is the daughter of aerospace mogul Carl Ferris. She “works for her dad’s company Ferris Air, got an MBA, and has a lifetime crush on Hal.” Check out the list below.

I would personally love to see Keri Russell or Eva Green get the role. Russell was awesome in Mission Impossible 3 and Eva Green in Casino Royale. I wouldn’t like to see Garner get near any comic book material after Elektra. After Inglourious Basterds, couldn’t go wrong with Kruger either.
The Green Lantern is looking at a June 17th, 2011 release.
