Timothée Chalamet was on fire last year. Playing the heartbreaking Elio in Call Me By Your Name, as well as giving remarkable supporting performances in both Hostiles and Lady Bird, Chalamet has cemented himself as one of the best young actors working in Hollywood. We learned earlier this year that he would lead the newest period-drama The King for Netflix, and just when we thought things couldn’t get more exciting, news has broken that Robert Pattinson, Sean Harris, Ben Mendelsohn and Lily-Rose Depp will be joining him, according to Deadline.

The King, directed by David Michôd, is based off the Shakespeare play Henry V, and will be adapted for the screen by both Michôd and Joel Edgerton, who will also star in the film. Chalamet will play Henry V in the titular role and will follow his involuntary rise to power after the death of his brother – all while facing military conflict with France. Pattinson will play French prince The Dauphin, Mendelson will play Chalamet’s father King Henry IV, and Depp will play French Princess Catherine, who ultimately marries Henry V.

Previous works from director David Michôd include The Rover, Animal Kingdom, and his inaugural Netflix collaboration War Machine. With Joel Edgerton, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, David Michôd, Anita Overland, Brad Pitt, and Liz Watts producing with Plan B Entertainment, The King will be available to stream on Netflix sometime in 2019.
