Instead of revealing when half of Hollywood is at the Sundance Film Festival, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences thankfully pushed up the date of their Oscar nominations, so, if this morning’s announcement seems slightly early, it’s for good reason. In the wee hours of Pacific Standard Time, our upcoming Oscar host Seth MacFarlane got together with the charming Emma Stone to deliver our 85th annual Academy Award nominations.
