Louis Leterrier likes keeping himself busy, that’s for sure. Last June, we reported that The Clash of the Titans helmer was circling a sci-fi disaster flick formerly titled Gravity, and word on the grapevine is that he intends to bring that project to fruition. Coming right after the recent news of his involvement with the Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci-produced heist film Now You See Me, it appears that Leterrier has no qualms about bulking up his resume.

The film, now abbreviated to G, will be shot after Now You See Me, and is being kept under wraps by Universal Pictures, who is currently hunting for someone to pen the script from an original idea by Guymon Cassidy. It will be spearheaded by producers Peter Cramer and Sara Scott on behalf of Universal, with the cooperation of  MG360 and Leterrier’s Rabbit Hole Pictures [THR].

I’m not a huge fan of Leterrier, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have it in him to bring something worthwhile to the screen with a disaster movie turned Taken.

What do you think of Letterier’s two new projects? Are you excited to see his blockbuster career develop?
