As Martin Scorsese is deep into editing Silence, he’s also juggling a few other projects. One highly-anticipated work marks his return to HBO with writer-producer Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Sopranos) titled Vinyl. Also produced by Mick Jagger, it’s not debuting until next year, but after a brief, enticing teaser earlier this week, the first trailer has arrived.

Running just over a minute, it shows off some stylish promise in the ’70’s-set story of Bobby Cannavale as record label president Richie Finestra attempting to save his company of American Century Records. With a varied ensemble including Ray Romano, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Ato Essendoh, Olivia Wilde, and Max Casella, check out the energetic trailer below.

From Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, this new 10-episode drama series is set in 1970s New York. A ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco, and hip-hop, the show is seen through the eyes of a record label president, Richie Finestra, played by Bobby Cannavale, who is trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path.

Vinyl will premiere on February 14th.
