After grossing over $1 billion and picking up the Oscar for Best Animated Film, Pixar doesn’t want Toy Story 3 to be the last time you see these characters. They’ve been planning a short before Cars 2 this June and it was recently revealed that another short is attached to The Muppets this November. EW now has our first footage at the former short, titled Toy Story: Hawaiian Vacation.

Gary Rydstrom, who directed the 2006 Pixar short Lifted, has taken over the reigns from Lee Unkrich and co. to helm this short. The entire short clocks in at under six minutes and returns nearly the entire cast, including Chuckles the Clown. He also states there is no Toy Story 4 being planned but “several stories [are] being worked on, [with] different shorts in the pipeline.” For more details on the short head over to EW and you can see the clip below.

Synopsis: Set in new owner Bonnie’s bedroom, “Hawaiian Vacation” features Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) and Buzz (voice of Tim Allen) and the rest of the favorite “Toy Story 3” toys as they create the ultimate Hawaiian vacation for Ken (voice of Michael Keaton) and Barbie (voice of Jodi Benson). It seems Ken badly miscalculated their travel arrangements, so the gang has to create a dream getaway in Bonnie’s Midwestern bedroom—in the middle of winter. “Hawaiian Vacation” also features the voices of Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Blake Clark, Bonnie Hunt, Timothy Dalton, Kristen Schaal, Jeff Garlin and John Ratzenberger.

The short will premiere with Cars 2 on June 24th, 2011.

What do you think of the clip? Are you satisfied with the Toy Story characters living on in these shorts or do you want to see a fourth film?
