With Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby set to open the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, we’ve now got the complete official line-up from the event, which notably includes Nicolas Winding Refn‘s Drive follow-up Only God Forgives, Alexander Payne‘s Nebraska, Steven Soderbergh‘s Behind The Candelabra (which will also be debuting on HBO the same month), Asghar Farhadi‘s The Past, Coens‘ Inside Llewyn Davis and James Gray‘s (now retitled) The Immigrant.
A bit of a surprise comes with Roman Polanski‘s Venus In Fur, which some expected to be held until the fall festival circuit. Along with new films from Ozon, Miike, Sorrentino, Koreeda, Desplechin and more, it’s a promising line-up that we’re greatly looking forward to covering.
