After a lengthy post-production battle, nearly a year after hit theaters in South Korea (and elsewhere), Bong Joon-ho‘s post-apocalyptic drama Snowpiercer will finally be landing in the United States. Getting a limited release and VOD bow on the same day next month, Radius-TWC have now released the first domestic trailer.

Considering how greatly we’re looking forward to it, we’ll be skipping this as we’ve seen more than enough footage. If you haven’t been converted, however, check it out below, along with new images, for the film starring Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, Ed Harris, Alison Pill, Ewen Bremner, Octavia Spencer, Kang-ho Song, and Ko Asung.

Update: Check out the U.S. green band trailer below.

In this sci-fi epic from director Bong Joon-Ho (The Host, Mother), a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet. The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.

Snowpiercer opens on June 27th.
