Following in the footsteps of the last Alien film, Ridley Scott and company aren’t teasing their sci-fi adventure through strictly conventional means. To help introduce to the cast of this summer’s Alien: Covenant — consisting of Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby — a special prologue has been released.

Titled The Prologue: Last Supper, the five-minute short film directed by Ridley Scott’s son Luke Scott is set aboard the Covenant, the colonization ship that is taking a journey to a remote planet to form a new human settlement. In the preview, the main crew of couples, along with android, have a final meal before they are put to cryosleep. (Hopefully Chris Pratt isn’t hiding somewhere in the hull.)

Get to know the new cast by checking out the prologue below and if you missed the first trailer, see it here.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
