Leave it to Pixar to craft one of the most impressive pieces of viral marketing we’ve seen yet. Ahead of next summer’s Monsters University, they’ve launched a fully functional website for the college, complete with a student ID portion that is soon to come. But there’s a whole lot else to explore from a working campus store to a letter from the president to offered classes to Greek life to events (including a screening of Screaming in the Rain) — there is literally everything you can imagine. So, one can get exploring, but I’ve also included some impressive images of life around campus included on the site, along with a map. Check them out below and click for high-resolution.

Synopsis:

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”).

Monsters University arrives on June 21st, 2013
