With films from Martin Scorsese, Alfonso Cuarón, Noah Baumbach, Steven Soderbergh, and even Orson Welles in their library, Netflix is set to release another new project by a much-lauded auteur. Alexander Payne’s newest film starring Mads Mikkelsen has been picked up by the company for financing and distribution, set for a release in the fall of 2020.

Currently untitled, Deadline reports the film is about a father and daughter road trip across the U.S. as the father–a Danish journalist–writes a story for a newspaper. The two-time Oscar winner for Sideways and The Descendants was originally set to be making The Menu as his next feature, a food-industry satire starring Emma Stone and Ralph Fiennes, but will begin filming this new project first, beginning next month in Denmark, Sweden, and the United States.

Mikkelsen was recently seen in the similarly-themed thrillers Polar and Arctic and also will appear in the long-delayed Chaos Walking as well as a reteam with Thomas Vinterberg, Druk, which is currently filming.
