Made on a comparatively tight budget, Magic Mike ended up being one of WB’s most successful films back in 2012, and now nearly exactly three years later we’ll be getting the follow-up. With Steven Soderbergh out as director (although he returns in the roles of executive producer, cinematographer, and editor), his longtime assistant director and producer Greg Jacobs takes the reigns and the first trailer has now landed.

Returning are Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias (sorry, no Matthew McConaughey), joined by newcomers Elizabeth Banks, Donald Glover, Amber Heard, Andie MacDowell, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Michael Strahan (which aren’t featured yet). This time around we find the gang taking a road trip, but the first trailer which can be seen below, features most of what you’d expect: a lot of grinding, dancing, and stripping.

Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, “Magic Mike XXL” finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.

Magic Mike XXL opens on July 1st, 2015.
