Well, it’s not Zac Efron, but he’ll do. With the overabundance of rumors regarding Star Wars: Episode VII and future films in the series, it’s a rarity to get some actual confirmation from J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy‘s team. But today brings word that a vet to the series will be making his triumphant, welcome return. Speaking at Germany’s Star Wars Celebration Europe, Kennedy is bringing back composer John Williams for Abrams’ next film, as well as Episode VIII and IX.

While the video below, featuring Williams discussing his return, simply states the title of the 2015-bound film, Empire confirms it will be the entire new trilogy as well. They also report that Kennedy is detailing the special effects during pre-production, saying, “Like many of you, looking at all the Star Wars movie and getting a feeling for what even the early films did in combination of real locations and special effects, that’s something we’re looking very seriously at.” So, if all else fails, at least Williams will be back and one can check out the video below.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to land in 2015.

Are you happy Williams is returning?
