It looks like Relativity Media is using “the more, the better” approach for their upcoming sword-and-sandal epic Immortals. Directed by The Fall‘s Tarsem, we’ve already gotten a first, second and third trailer, and now Coventry Telegraph is delivering our fourth and reportedly “final” one. This one lays out the story even more in the first half and shows off a few pieces of new footage. As we get closer to release date, this is looking like all style with little substance, but I hope Tarsem proves me wrong. Henry Cavill, our new Man of Steel, leads the ensemble that includes Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto, Stephen Dorff, Luke Evans, John Hurt, and Kellan Lutz. Check out the trailer below.

Synopsis:

Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares.

Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes. Rallying a band of fellow outsiders–including visionary priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto) and cunning slave Stavros (Stephen Dorff) — one hero will lead the uprising, or watch his homeland fall into ruin and his Gods vanish into legend.

Immortals hits theaters November 11th, 2011.
