While there were a handful of stinkers at the Tribeca Film Festival this year, one at the “top” of the pile was Kat Coiro‘s A Case of You. Following a young writer (Justin Long) who woos a cute and quirky barista (Evan Rachel Wood) by creating an embellished online profile, the film is gearing up for a VOD and theatrical release next month and the first trailer has arrived.
As we said in our full review, “the intelligence level here is on par with the latest Dennis Dugan/Adam Sandler production” and while “expected and predictable, not every movie about Brooklyn hipsters has to be The Comedy, but it also doesn’t have to be a trite sitcom.” Check out the trailer and poster below for the film also starring Peter Dinklage, Brendan Fraser, Sam Rockwell, Vince Vaughn and Sienna Miller.
