It’s difficult to conjure up excitement for new stills when a film takes place entirely in one space, but when it is by Roman Polanski and stars Kate Winslet, John C. Reilly, Jodie Foster and Christoph Waltz, it is a bit easier. Based on Yasmina Reza‘s Tony-winning play God of Carnage, the adaptation has been described as Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?, but “a little funnier,” with “a lot of wit.” The Playlist now provides three new images, which can be seen above and below. There isn’t much to go on, but we can at least see more of the set, which we’ll be spending a lot of time in.

Synopsis:

Set in contemporary Brooklyn, New York, the story follows two pairs of parents, one of whose child has hurt the other at a public park. They meet to discuss the incident in a civilized manner, but as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in chaos.

Carnage hits theaters on November 18th, 2011 via Sony Pictures Classics after an expected fall festival run.
