Thanks to the official news blog over at director Kevin Smith’s official website ViewAskew.com it can be confirmed that Smith’s new film starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan which was titled A Couple of Dicks finally has a new title but no one can say what it is.
DICKS NEWS: The Movie Formerly Known as A COUPLE OF DICKS has finally settled on a (network-policy-dictated) replacement title! While we’ll always have DICKS in our hearts, the title we just now locked makes me smile on a bunch of different levels – including this 1: we can now advertise our movie properly (& ironically). And said marketing begins… on every print of SHERLOCK HOLMES, Christmas Day!
The astute reader will also note that this is saying there will finally be a trailer for the new film with Sherlock Holmes (as if you didn’t need more of a reason to see it already). According to Smith via twitter the new title will be revealed by Warner Brothers in a day or two.
I’m a big Smith fan and definitely looking forward to a trailer along with Sherlock Holmes. Check back with TFS for an update when the official title gets announced.
