Rachel McAdams is in negotiations to star opposite Owen Wilson and the recently added Marion Cotillard in the yet to be titled Woody Allen film scheduled to shoot in the summer.

Although the plot for the film is still under wraps, THR revealed that the setting for the ensemble is France. Spain’s Mediapro is financing and plans to sell the movie in Cannes.

Wilson and McAdams starred together in the 2005 romantic comedy, Wedding Crashers. Although Wilson is an unconventional choice for a male lead in an Allen film, McAdams seems to be a more likely choice, with the her career spanning through a number of different genres and bearing a similar style to a previous Allen favorite, Scarlett Johannson.
