One of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Film (/Film’s Peter Sciretta) snapped a photo of the new poster for Knight & Day outside the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, TX. The upcoming action/comedy is directed by James Mangold and stars Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Maggie Grace, Peter Sarsgaard, Marc Blucas, Paul Dano, and Viola Davis. Plot: An action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple (Cruise and Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one – even themselves – are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust.

Unfortunately a theater employee announced before my IMAX showing of Avatar that there would be no trailers attached because of the long length of the film. I’m eager to check it out, comment below if you saw it and what you thought! I’ve enjoyed most of Mangold’s work, but after watching Walk Hard I can never watch Walk the Line without laughing hysterically. This one looks a lot more fun and the poster kind of reminds me of a James Bond theme song animation.
Knight & Day hits theaters July 2nd, 2010.
