Sylvester Stallone, the seemingly immortal action star, told Empire Magazine John Rambo has most likely seen his last fight.
“‘I think Rambo’s pretty well done. I don’t think there’ll be any more. I’m about 99 per cent sure,”‘ he told the magazine in the latest issue.” [Coming Soon]
Hold back those tears, though. Instead of killing Third World baddies as Rambo, Stallone plans to go on killing them as an expendable:
“We are very serious… we’re already working on an [Expendables] sequel,” he said.
So, in a way, Rambo, much like Stallone himself, will never die.
The Expendables opens August 13th.
