This fall will bring two very different films that both tackle American themes — as evident in two timely new posters. First up, we’ve got a new one-sheet for Kathryn Bigelow‘s Zero Dark Thirty that uses imagery, including the American flag, from the film that follows the hunt for Osama bin Laden and considering its known success, we can expect it to swing on the patriotic side.

Then we have the final alternate poster for Andrew Dominik‘s Killing Them Softly, a drama the deals with the greed and capitalism in the crime underbelly of America. As we can see in this high-contrast poster, it’s going to be one violent experience. See our positive review from Cannes for the film starring Brad Pitt, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Vincent Curatola, Max Casella and Sam Shepard. Check out both posters below via Moviefone and Facebook.

Killing Them Softly arrives on November 30th, while Zero Dark Thirty hits limited release on December 19th.
