The end of another iconic movie figure is nigh. Showbiz Spy reports that Harrison Ford has spoken to George Lucas and Steven Spielberg to tell them that Indiana Jones should die during the next installment of the film franchise.
An inside source has been quoted as saying, “Harrison thinks it would be good for Indy to die and pass on his hat to his son in the next one….George especially is resisting the notion but Steven is considering it. Funnily enough Harrison wanted the same for Han Solo in the final Star Wars but George put an end to it. This time he doesn’t have all the say though.”
The fourth movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, garnered mixed reviews, winning the Razzie Award for Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off, or Sequel.
Do you think it’s time for Indy to give up the whip?
