After an early leak, the official trailer for Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man is now online. The reboot of the popular superhero property stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field.
I’m liking the tone 500 Days of Summer director Webb has set for this and while the last POV half of the trailer seems more like showcase for 3D, I’m much more interested in this film than I previously though. Check out the trailer below and we’ll update when a full HD trailer arrives. It is also attached to Captain America: The First Avenger, which we highly recommend seeing.
Update: Yahoo also has the official trailer now and you can see 60+ High-Resolution Photos From The Amazing Spider-Man here.
Written by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent, and Steve Kloves, The Amazing Spider-Man follows a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises.
The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters July 3rd, 2012.
