When Wes Anderson kept coy about his “great” ensemble for The Grand Budapest Hotel, it’s becoming apparent it was for good reason. Although Johnny Depp dropped the project, Bill Murray, Ralph Fiennes, Jude Law, Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman are all on board and today we’ve got another addition.

After spilling some of the beans earlier this week on the film, which takes place in Hungary about 85 years ago and is inspired by the work of Billy Wilder and Ernst Lubitsch, Variety has news on another promising actor joining the ensemble. The trade reports that Atonement and Hanna star Saoirse Ronan will take the female lead role in the film, but as per usual, no word on what exactly her character may be.

Ronan is yet another strong piece of the ensemble and a bit out of the blue — considering some earlier rumors had older actresses rumored, but none as young as this 18-year-old. She’ll next be seen in The Host in the spring, but as production kicks off soon in Germany for a hopeful 2013 release, check back for more details as they arrive.

Are you looking forward to Ronan entering the world of Anderson?
