Marking the first entry into the Jurassic Park franchise in nearly 15 years, Colin Trevorrow‘s Jurassic World arrives in a few short days and while our review will be coming soon, today brings a batch of materials from the film, most notably Michael Giacchino‘s entire score. First up, though, we have some more from Trevorrow regarding the future of the franchise and what kind of film he’ll do next.
“Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie. I would be involved in some way, but not as director,” Trevorrow told BadTaste (via CS), regarding a potential sequel. “I feel like, at this moment, my head is in a space where I just want at least one… I want to go make an original movie,” he tells MTV, revealing his next film will be “smaller,” adding, “It’s all very personal, but I want to define myself a little bit more as a filmmaker and hone my craft.
Ahead of Jurassic World, check out the full score below, along with a wealth of footage from the film, including five clips, a few featurettes, the final trailer, b-roll footage, and perhaps most entertaining, a series of video journals featuring Chris Pratt from the set.
Jurassic World opens on June 12th.
