After directing The Cell and The Fall, the latter being one of my personal favorite of the last decade, Tarsem has helmed his biggest feature yet with Immortals. Our first trailer hinted at the lavish designs and trademark visuals we have come to expect from the director, but the latest one ups the action. It’s still very apparent they are using setpieces, but I’m greatly looking forward to what is in store.
Henry Cavill, our new Superman: Man of Steel, leads the ensemble that includes Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto, Stephen Dorff, Luke Evans, John Hurt, and Kellan Lutz. Check out the trailer below from RyanSeacrest.com (don’t ask), via First Showing.
Synopsis:
Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity.
