Yesterday we reported that Jason Lee (Vanilla Sky) had joined the cast of Kevin Smith’s (Clerks) A Couple of Dicks. Today Variety reported that Michelle Trachtenberg has joined the cast. Like many of the cast Trachtenberg has also worked with Smith before. She was one of the female leads in Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Trachtenberg will be playing the daughter of Bruce Willis’s (Die Hard) character. Jason Lee will be playing her step-father. Also in the fold is comedian Jim Norton. This was discovered through Norton’s twitter account. “On the set of Kevin Smith’s movie. I was wanking in my trailer until some stupid kids ran by and pounded on my door. Kids suck.”
I am more and more pumped for this movie as the days go by. As I said yesterday this is turning into possibly the funniest movie of 2010. I can’t wait to hear more. Kevin Smith could not have picked a better movie to make is big budget directorial debut.
