David O. Russell‘s family boxing drama The Fighter is in wide release as of last weekend, so there is no reason to miss out on one of the year’s best. Today we have a few updates related to the film for you. First up, if you’ve seen the film there is a main thread related to Christian Bale’s character Dicky Eklund (both pictured above at the premiere). I don’t want to spoil one of the most effective parts of the film, but Ed Douglas from Coming Soon (via Bad Ass Digest) uncovered the actual HBO special, which you can view below.

Lastly, we have sad news for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune fans. Not only is your key spokesperson, seen below, lacking any sense of human decency or spelling capability, it also sounds like director David O. Russell has never even heard of Nathan Fillion. See the #1 fan awkwardly pester O. Russell after a screening Arclight in L.A regarding Fillion being the perfect candidate for Nathan Drake. Sorry, it’s going to be Mark Wahlberg.
