They’ve got me half convinced with this first full trailer, taking all they can from Up in the Air and then some. It’s a whole lotta Ben Affleck, which is a bit of a surprise, and only a little bit of Kevin Costner. But with a Boston accent! So that’ll be exciting.

All of this joking to say that yes, it plays overwrought and John Wells and co. seem to overplaying their hand in these two and half minutes.
One thing is for sure, Affleck’s in for a good year. And it’s about time the comback became officially official.
