In light of this, news that Warner Bros. is developing a comedy vehicle for Brand is less than surprising. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. has snatched up the rights to a popular ’70s/’80s British kids comedy show Rentaghost, with the aim to shape it into a “Beetlejuice-style afterlife feature comedy vehicle for Russell Brand.” Based on this I’d expect a PG-13 comedy infused with some creepy imagery and occasional shock scares. comedy, and will voice the lead in the animated kids’ flick
