Variety is reporting that Peter Cattaneo, director of The Full Monty and The Rocker, is pointing his next camera at What the Puck, about a father and son who get closer because of their mutual love for hockey, leading them to the World Junior Championships in Canada. It is written be Kinky Boots scribe Geoff Deane.
Full Monty was hilarious and brilliantly witty. As hard as he may have tried, The Rocker didn’t live up to expectations. There seems to be a rise in Hockey based films. with directors such as Reitman and Smith talking about making ones of their own.
What gives?
