While out promoting Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief star Logan Lerman stated to Access Hollywood that he happens to be in talks for starring in Marc Webb‘s upcoming reboot of Spider-Man. Here’s what Lerman had to say:

“It’s just, you know, conversations are starting. It’s a long process with the studio and the producers and everything. But it’s definitely a project that I’m really interested in, of course.  I’d love to focus on the human element a little bit more.”

Having only seen Lerman in Gamer and 3:10 to Yuma, this doesn’t seem like a bad choice. He was definitely one of the bright spots of Gamer and he seems to have that innocent teen look Spider-Man needs. But I’m a little confused by his statement on the “human element” though since that was the aspect Raimi focused the most on in the first two films.

What do you think of Logan Lerman playing Spider-Man?
