The first trailer for John McClane’s action return in A Good Day To Die Hard was a bit of a surprise. While it seems like a far cry from the first film, further turning Bruce Willis’ character into an action superhero, the sense of fun was a major step up from John Moore, who last gave us the vapid Max Payne.
We’ve now got the first poster, which unfortunately is about as vanilla as they come, using his famous phrase and adding the locale in this fifth film. As a bonus, we’ve also popped in the final one-sheet for Walter Salles‘ adaptation of the Jack Kerouac classic On the Road. Featuring stars Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart, this one has a nice novel aesthetic. Check out the posters below, with both coming from Entertainment Weekly.
On the Road arrives in December, while A Good Day To Die Hard hits theaters on Valentine’s Day 2013.
