Punch Drunk Love

“I have a love in my life. It makes me stronger than anything you can imagine.”

Unless you’ve got your hands on their LaserDisc edition of Boogie Nights, the moment has (almost) arrived: one can own a Paul Thomas Anderson film with the Criterion Collection treatment. Just after we named it one of the 50 best comedies of the 21st century so far — and, let’s be honest: probably for that very reason — his Adam Sandler-led 2002 feature Punch-Drunk Love is coming in November.

Also arriving that same month are Noah Baumbach‘s The Squid and the Whale, Akira Kurosawa‘s Dreams, Kenji Misumi‘s Lone Wolf and Cub, and Marlon Brando‘s One-Eyed Jacks, the lattermost of which will also screen as part of NYFF’s Revivals.

Check out the full lineup below, and click each artwork to pre-order. One can see full details on the releases on the official site.
