After watching the epic trailer for Louis Leterrier’s remake of Clash of The Titans I actually couldn’t think of a better band to provide the score than Muse. Well, it looks like they are being considered as frontman from the band, Matt Bellamy told the Daily Star:

“It’s something we’re up for doing. It’s just a case of timing because we’re always on tour. Clash of the Titans is the first interesting offer we’ve had for film work. We’re definitely interested in writing for films at some point when we get a break from the road.”

Taking a look at their tour dates I see an 3 week opening and then a few days here and there. Is that enough to write a film score by March? I’m pretty hesitant, but it would definitely be awesome. With talk of Titans getting the 3D treatment, could the film even get delayed? Stay tuned for updates and check out two Muse videos below (one new, one old) if you haven’t heard them before.

Clash of the Titans hits theaters March 26th, 2010 and stars Sam Worthington (Avatar, Terminator Salvation), Ralph Fiennes (The Reader), Liam Neeson (Taken), and Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace).

What do you think about Muse possibly doing the Clash of the Titans score?
