Todd Phillips is back with a new comedy after last year’s smash hit, The Hangover. It’s a roadtrip film featuring Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis. I saw it last night and quite enjoyed it. While mean-spirited, the banter between the duo was perfect. I wouldn’t expect The Hangover, but it is a crazy/funny adventure. MySpace has premiered a new red band trailer and I highly recommend not watching it, unless you had no intention of seeing the film. It gives away one of my favorite gags, but if you can’t resist, it is available below.
Synopsis: High-strung father-to-be Peter Highman (Downey Jr.) is forced to hitch a ride with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) on a road trip in order to make it to his child’s birth on time.
Due Date hits theaters this Friday, Dec. 5th.
