Announced at the crack of dawn in Los Angeles this morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association have weighed in on their nominations for the 70th annual Golden Globe awards. In terms of surprises, the HFPA seemed to love Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, giving it a Best Picture – Comedy nod, as well as top acting noms. Nicole Kidman was also recognized for her performance in The Paperboy, while Richard Gere was (finally) recognized for his lead performance in Arbitrage. The rest is fairly consistent with Lincoln leading the pack with 7 nominations and Django Unchained and Argo next in line with 5 nominations each. Check out the full rundown below.
