After directing Get Him To The Greek and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Nicholas Stoller is gearing up for his third feature, Five-Year Engagement. The project sees Stoller co-writing with Jason Segal, who scripted Marshall. Variety now confirms Emily Blunt will lead the film and they have news of another actress joining the film.

Community star Alison Brie will play “younger sister to Emily Blunt’s character” in the film that “charts the ups and downs of the relationship between the couple, portrayed by Blunt and Jason Segal.” Judd Apatow, who is gearing up to shoot his next feature this summer, is producing. Brie, a huge fan of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, will have to conquer a British accent for Engagement. The actress can also be seen in Scream 4 this spring.

Five-Year Engagement starts shooting this April.

Are you a fan of Brie? What do you think about her joining an Apatow production?
