According to the New York Daily News via /Film Jeffrey Tambor believes both that Cera is on board, and that the Arrested Development will happen this year. At a recent Upright Citizens Brigade LA performance of Word Girl, Tambor was quoted as saying the following:
If I have to call him up and say, ‘Get on set right now, young man,’ he’ll be there…The movie is going to happen this year, and Michael Cera is on board. Trust me.
After the news that the Arrested Development movie is definitely happening, then the disappointing news that Michael Cera says a script doesn’t even exist it is good to see someone come out and talk about his involvement with the film. With all the back and forth rumors of the movie, I’m not going to believe anything until I see photos from the set.
Do you believe Tambor?
