One will rarely find sequels in the land of film festivals, but we suppose last year’s Before Midnight ushered in a change of pace for Sundance Film Festival. This year in Park City we’ll have a trio of sequels, including follow-ups to The Raid and The Trip, as well as the second Dead Snow, for which we have the first trailer today.
Picking up after the events of the first film, Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead features the return of director Tommy Wirkola and tracks our hero with a new arm to fight back against the Nazi zombies. It looks like a bloody fun time, particularly when it comes to one of the final shots in this preview. Starring Vegar Hoel, Stig Frode Henriksen, Ørjan Gamst, Monica Haas, Jocelyn DeBoer, and, for some reason, Martin Starr, check out the trailer below via Shock ‘Til You Drop.
Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead will premiere at Sundance and has no U.S. distribution yet.
