Like Louis C.K.‘s Hilarious yesterday, today’s Daily Distraction also comes in the form of a documentary. You may know Greg Gillis, but it’s more likely you’ve heard of his alias Girl Talk. Through his electric concerts and meticulously crafted mash-up albums, he has become one of my favorite performers. Director JP Coakley followed around the artist for his insanely extravagant New Year’s Eve show. It took place in Chicago at the Congress Theater and Coakley crafted a 30-minute documentary. Like Girl Talk’s last album Feed the Animals, he uploaded it for free online. You can check it out below in three parts.
