As Netflix continues to increase the output of their original content, their finest drama remains the Wachowskis‘ ambitious Sense8. In terms of formal accomplishment and emotional connection, the first season was a joy to watch — and now, before a follow-up season, they are returning with a two-hour Christmas special.
Ahead of a release in just a week, Netflix has released the first trailer. If you thought this sort of special might not be a fit for a series like this, the Wachowskis are here to prove otherwise as it looks to mix some good-hearted connection with their brand of action.
