With its idiosyncratic soundtrack, energetic performances from its electic cast, and entertaining pop aesthetic, James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy proved to be one of the highlights of Marvel’s line-up so far. Three years later, the lovable gang is returning and instead of a late-summer slot, they’ve got the first weekend in May, a major kick-off for the season. Ahead of its theatrical premiere with Doctor Strange, the first trailer has now landed.
Set just two months after the first film’s conclusion, this time around Peter Quill ventures around the galaxy with his crew to work out some daddy issues.
