Everybody loves a good comeback story, especially if it actually happened. The story of real-life world champion boxer Vinny Pazienza, who returned to the ring after a car accident that almost killed him, is being told this fall with director Ben Younger’s Bleed for This. Ahead of a release, the first trailer has now arrived.
This will mark the writer-director’s third feature, with an 11-year gap between Bleed and 2005’s Prime. Miles Teller portrays Pazienza, with Katey Sagal and Ciarán Hinds playing both his parents. The cast is rounded off by Aaron Eckhart and Ted Levine. See the trailer below, along with a poster and an actual title fight between Pizienza and Roy Jones.
Bleed For This is set for U.S. theatrical release on November 23rd.
