Audiences at TIFF will be getting a double-dose of a few actors this year, in more ways than one. Not only is Jake Gyllenhaal featured in two films from Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners and Enemy), but the latter work actually concerns his doppelganger. The same goes for Jesse Eisenberg and Mia Wasikowska, with the former star appearing in Night Moves and, then, teaming up with the latter star (who has three features there, herself) for The Double, which features his doppelganger as well.

Coming from Richard Ayoade, who delivered the stellar Submarine a couple of years ago, The Double is looking to be a major step-up in scope and narrative. Already riding off a bit of positive buzz ahead of its premiere, the first enigmatic trailer has now landed today — which, in itself, has us pleased we put the title on our most-anticipated festival film rundown. Featuring Son House‘s “Don’t You Mind People Grinnin’ In Your Face,” check it out below (via The Guardian) for the film also starring Wallace Shawn and Noah Taylor.

The Double premieres at TIFF tomorrow.
