Box Office Mojo has a new movie release schedule that features two high profile movies. One being Marvel’s next superhero movie, Thor. and the other being Johnny Depp‘s return as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Thor is reported to be released on May 6, 2011 while Pirates 4 is to be released May 20, 2011.
What is surprising about this is the movement of ‘Thor’. It was originally going to be on the 6th, but was pushed to take the spot of another movie about a Marvel franchise, Spider-Man 4. This all happens only a day after its was announced to be on hold. Marvel must really want a movie released.
It was also confirmed earlier today that the US remake of the Swedish masterpiece Let The Right One In, titled Let Me In and directed by Matt Reeves,will see a release on October 1st, 2010.
Does this mean more peril for the next Spidey film or is this just another minor set back? What do you think of the Let The Right One In remake?
