The Judd Apatow-produced comedy Five-Year Engagement stars Jason Segel and Emily Blunt as a couple enduring the rough ride of an extended engagement. Directed by Nicholas Stoller (Get Him To The Greek and Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and penned by Stoller and Segel, the film had earlier added Community star Alison Brie to its cast. Now another comedian from NBC’s Thursday night line-up has signed on.

According to THR, Chris Pratt, who plays the lovable oaf Andy on Parks and Recreation has joined Engagement along with Rhys Ifans, who was most recently scene-stealing in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, where he played the loony father of Luna Lovegood.

While I’ve had mixed feelings on Stoller’s prior offerings, with a cast like this on board, it’s hard not to be excited about this upcoming comedy.

Five-Year Engagement is set to shoot this April.
